About Mende

Hello and welcome! My name is Mende (men-dee) Jung-Hsuan Chang (she/they).

My values are: authentic expression of self, compassion, curiosity, a sense of belonging, and empowerment.

My practice is trauma-informed. I work relationally and draw from each client’s strengths and resources and hold a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your authentic experiences. My practice orientation is informed by psychodynamics, attachment theory, harm reduction model, and I work with a social justice lens. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients! I speak Mandarin 中文.

I wish to support you to move towards clarity, empowerment, and unity in your mind and body: to feel the weight of your existence, to feel the lightness of your movement, and to experience the simple flow of your breath. It begins with us taking a breath together, right here and now.

I look forward to meeting you!
